Utah z Andreą i Thomasem
Uciekamy od skwaru Nevady do kolejngo stanu Utah. Nazwa stanu prawdopodobnie pochodzi od nazwy tubylczych amerykanów – Indian Ute (pol. Jutowie). Istnieją dwie teorie pochodzenia słowa: pierwsza, iż pochodzi ona z dialektu Ute i oznaczającego „ludzi gór”, druga teoria iż pochodzi od słowa yuttahih z języka Apaczów, a znaczącego ten/ci którzy są wyżej. Czyli wiemy, że będziemy mieć góry, co Marzena lubi i aż 5 parków narodowych w tym maleńkim stanie. Uff ale będzie do zwiedzania! Od razu uprzedzamy, że będzie to post głównie fotograficzny.
W Utah też umówiliśmy się z Andreą i Thomasem na wspólne zwiedzanie. On już obozowali w kanionie Bryce czekając na nas. My jadać na spotkanie przejechaliśmy z szeroko otwartymi oczami piekną dolinę parku Zion.
Odnaleźliśmy ich, co nie było wcale łatwe po nocy i w lesie, a tam czekało na nas ognisko (przez ostatni miesiąc był zakaz z powodu pożarów) i rozmowy do późnej nocy. Andrea jako nasz paparazzi uwieczniła piękne nasze nocne zdjęcia. A kolejnego dnia pojechaliśmy zwiedzać Kanion Bryce.
Marzena jakby mogła to wstawiłaby jeszcze więcej zdjeć. Jak do tej pory jest to jej ulubiony objekt do fotografowania. Jest magicznie i klimatycznie.
Po dwóch dniach obozowania, nasza karawana przemieściła się w pobliże kolejenej atrakcji, czyli Capitol Reff. Okazuje się, że cały stan Utah to jedna wielki obszar do fotografowania. Wszystko wzbudza ochy i achy. Zwłaszcza bezdroża.
W Capitol Reef powędrowaliśmy do skalnego mostu. Śmiechu i zabawy było co niemiara.
Kolejnym celem naszej ekspedycji był Park Narodowy Arches. Znaleźliśmy kolejne fajne, bo darmowe, miejsce na obóz. Objadowaliśmy wspólnie. Pojawiła się tradycja, że raz gotuje załoga Andrea i Thomas, a następnie Sergio i Andrea 🙂 I tej nocy była też pełnia. Andrea oczywiście wszystko uwieczniła – wulkan energii. Kolenego dnia zwiedzilismy prawie cały park. Temperatury były wysokie ale humory nam dopisywały, apetyty po powrocie też.
Prawie nie ruszając się z okolicy kolejnego dnia zwiedziliśmy kolejne ciakwe miejsce. Widoki magiczne, międzyinnymi rzeka Kolorado wyrzeźbiła te kaniony.
Od początku wiedzielismy, że nasze drogi rozejdą się któegoś dnia. To miał być nasz ostatni nocleg razem. Ale udało się zdobyć jeszcze parę dni. Razem pojechaliśmy w ostatnie miejsce. Nawet przejechaliśmy granicę stanu, bo Mesa Verde National Park znajduje się już w Kolorado. Mieliśmy olbrzymie szczęście, bo załapaliśmy się na zwiedzanie Pałacu Klifowego w ostatnim dniu, na ostatniej wycieczce z przewodnikiem. Kolejnego dnia, już na spokojnie, zwiedziliśmy jeszcze raz okolicę.
I to był ostatni dzień razem, tym razem. My pojechaliśmy na zachód, a Andrea z Thomasem na wschód. Ale to nie był nasz ostatni raz. Liczymy, że się jeszcze spotkamy gdzieś na bezdrożu, jakiegokolwiek kontynentu.
Andrea, Thomas to był niezwykły tydzień pełen wrażeń. Dziękujemy za wspólne biwakowanie, żartowanie, rozmowy przy ognisku, za rady od bardziej doświadczonych podróżników. Do zobaczenia na szlaku!!!
